The originally Rolex Submariner was a no date. That was something they came up with once the patented the cyclops. So the no date Submariner is the original sub. If you have another Rolex with date then I would get a no date. If however you don’t have a Rolex and this will be your only one I’d get a date. This way you have a bit of variety in the collection.
