The 3186 had an update around 2015 to make the jumping hour hand mechanism more robust as some early 3186s may have had free wheeling hour hands. The update is also applied at service. Long story short, the price difference is ~,000. Is the 3186 worth that premium? Overall, both watches are in great condition and this is the only differentiator.
