1. Dial: The dials are frankly identical. Inky, glossy black finish with the classic Sub layout. The only discernible difference to my eye is that the 9937 says "Swiss Movement" at the bottom and the 8926 says "Japan Movt."
I drank the Rolex Kool aid, they're also a mass produced highly marketed piece, just like Invicta. The big difference? You can walk in to a retailer, and walk out with an Invicta. The Invicta 8926OB borrows from the 16610LN Rolex Submariner, but it’s not a replica. The shape of the crown guards isn’t the same, the crown itself is lower than the original, the bezel rotates with a decently large amount of play, the hands are thin, and the dial indices have a bit of “nipple dial” to them. The Invicta Pro Diver employs stainless steel for the watch case and strap, coupled with mineral crystal for the dial glass. On the other hand, the Rolex Submariner features a 904L stainless steel case and a sapphire crystal dial window. I honestly think that the Invicta Pro Diver is a better purchase than the Rolex Submariner. So I've owned an Invicta Pro Diver (two-tone blue/gold) for almost a year, and it is honestly one of the best watches I own.
So, what will you get from a sub-0 Invicta Pro Diver? Let’s start with the most obvious, the case. Case. As previously stated, the Invicta Pro Diver 8926OB is a dive watch in a 40mm case. It is a highly-coveted size for a diver, owing much of its fame to the Rolex Submariner. This Pro Diver is built with a 40mm Sub case that is very attractive to anyone who knows diving and wants a device with the same casing as the Rolex Submariner. The finish of the case on this device is particularly good and offers a high-sec option for a low price.
