The Omega clasp that comes equipped as standard equipment on two other models: the "reissue" Sea master 300, and the new Speedmaster Mark II, have a "Glidelock-like" sliding ratcheting adjustment feature hidden within the clasp housing.
Most likely you won't be able to get the fork inside the clasp and have room to compress the springbar. So you poke the hole from the outside (heyyyyy) and compress it that way while applying a little lateral pressure on the part attached inside the clasp, to try and slide it over to the next setting.
